As Catholics, we are good about saying I’ll pray for you and we do. Many of us find it much more difficult (and scary) to say “Would it be alright if I prayed for you right now?” This practical talk will help you learn to pray with others in the moment.
Deb McManimon was a speaker at the “The Adventure of Sharing Christ” online women’s event, hosted by SmartCatholics & Susan Windley-Daoust.
Deb McManimon is a speaker, trainer, team leader, and Regional Missionaries for St. Paul Evangelization Institute, a lay Catholic apostolate that encourages all Catholics to fulfill their call to be a missionary disciple. She lives in Owatonna, MN with her husband Tim and has 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren and serves with many organizations in the diocese. She has her Ph.D. in Business and has been a professor in higher education for more almost 20 years. Deb is a Catholic Evangelist who speaks to youth, young adults, clergy, and adults at local, diocesan, and national events. She describes her life right now as living the Joy of the Gospel.

Although the speakers are women, this is not your typical “women’s conference.” Women’s lives have unique challenges and graces that should be drawn upon in the New Evangelization.
On April 17, 2021, a variety of Catholic women came together online to share insights and outreach. These are their stories.
