Father Kirby summarizes the biblical account of Jesus’ battle with Satan. He connects this battle with the same battles we are fighting in our present age. As a summary of this conflict, Father Kirby points us to the Lord’s Prayer. The prayer offers us new strength and vigor as we face the Enemy. Through this prayer, we learn the power of God and the importance of the battle cry, “Thy Kingdom Come!”

~9:35 Father points out that even when Jesus was healing the afflicted, he was doing battle with evil. This was a new insight to me. Previously I had seen His healings as a demonstration of the love and power of God, but now I see them as also a type of combat, of warfare.
Thank you Father Jeff a great reflection on claiming our victory!
This was wonderful and insightful. Persevere! Showing us the strengthening power of adversity.
Love it. The Lord has won the victory. That victory is yours! Now claim it!
The seven petitions in the Our Father are so important. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Good to be reminded the importance of not only prayer but fasting as well. God talk. Thank you Father.
Very Important Points in this talk—Thank you Fr. Kirby for your faith and your passion! God Bless
I always wondered to myself…if the battle is already won, then why I am still fighting evil within myself. Now I’ve finally got an answer. Excellent talk.
