Patrick Novecosky | John Paul the Great: The Pope of Hope

by | Sep 11, 2020 | Videos

The Pope of Hope: JP2 had every reason to be cynical about God and the world, but he was an eternal optimist because he understood salvation history and had a deep, personal relationship with the Lord enabling him to see God’s hand in everything — including tragedy. We’re called to the same — and to be excited about being Catholic in today’s world.

Patrick Novecosky is an award-winning author and journalist with a passion for the New Evangelization and Pope St. John Paul II, whom he met five times.

ABOUT FEMCATHOLIC
Feminism is no longer just a movement, it’s the undertone of secular society. In order to reach people we actually must translate the gospel into a kind of “feminist dialect,” which requires truly encountering and understanding the issues women are facing and the solutions they are currently seeking.

Creating the Catholic Entrepreneurs of the Future with Jon Bachura

ABOUT JON BACHURA
Jon is the Director of the Catholic Entrepreneurship and Design Experience (CEDE). He is a son, a brother, a father, a husband, an uncle, and a follower of Christ. He has been helping schools to teach entrepreneurship for 15 years and he believes that we are all called to co-creation with God.

“In the summer of 2018 I found myself sitting with Andreas Widmer around a campfire in Colorado. It was just the two of us and I saw my chance to ask him, “What is Catholic about entrepreneurship?” His answer changed everything for me.”

THE CEDE PROGRAM
With the CEDE Program we help schools and communities create a culture of vocation and entrepreneurship to answer God’s call to co-creation. We give the curriculum away for free, we offer free training and consultation, and we can work with the willing to create a stronger culture of vocation and entrepreneurship.
