My talk will be about Pope Francis’ views on Silence, and on the spiritual insights we can acquire from them in our spiritual warfare against Satan. During his years as a priest, Bergoglio developed a particular perspective on the temptations that plague ecclesial institutions, and how to address them. Silence plays a key role in the spiritual warfare against these temptations, and his paramount in our victory against the snares of the devil when he disguises himself as an angel of light.

Comments from Attendees:
I am proud of you, Pedro. Well done! 🙂 I hope and pray that through this talk many (who criticized Pope Francis’ silence) would have a conversion of heart!
This talk is very informative and provides food for thought, as far as it goes. Thank you Pedro.
Thank you for an insight to the thinking of Pope Francis and of the reason and power of silence.
I was very impressed by your dramatic presentation of Pope Francis’ teaching. I’m a little afraid to reject self-sufficiency and suspicion in a world dominated by hate and cruelty. I value independence and critical thinking that often saves me from being used, abused, and confused by those who want to take advantage of others. Learning to be self-sufficient and suspicious of those who want to deceive, destroy, and steal from me are necessary skills that I had to learn to protect myself. It’s very difficult to love my enemies as I must, and I can’t do it sincerely and genuinely without feeling “holier than thou” when I do attempt it. Thank you for selecting those two temptations to warn us about, and for encouraging us to fight the good fight with our Lord Jesus Christ as our commander-in-chief.
Thank you very much for this talk. I have been bothered for a long time by my fellow Catholics who seem to think that they know better than the Holy Father.
This really helped me to understand some of the things about Francis that I’ve wondered about, and that other people have complained about. I try to ignore the complainers, but sometimes they drown out everything else.
