The importance of fathers and husbands has been downplayed in our culture for decades. Data clearly shows how devastating this has been to families and to our society at large. Here’s why you (as husbands and fathers) matter so much.

Thank you Mr. Weaver, father’s must guard the gate of our domestic church now, more than ever.
Wow! Thank you Mr. Weaver! This was truly an eye opening experience for me and has really given me inspiration on how to life my life as a holy man and prepare me for fatherhood.
What a terrific summary of so many integrated points Mr. Weaver adroitly offers here. Plenty to reflect on. . The spiritual conversion 93% indicates how important the SPIRITUAL dimension of fatherly leadership is. I can just imagine the level of spiritual influence of Christ’s priests can offer in sustaining that spirituality. Do we ever need prayer for biological and spiritual fathers! Oremus pro invicem.
I work in prison ministry and know first hand how accurate your data is about children without a father and the chances that they end up in prison. Almost every single man I speak with in prison has either no father figure or a poor father figure. I was wondering if you might share your slides that had some of the statistics. If so my email is john@saclemson.org. I am a deacon at Saint Andrew in Clemson, SC.
Great way to start with the example of elephants. Easy to see how that translates to young men in today’s society.
Amazing information. Thanks! I wish there was even newer percentages than 2010. I can imagine things are even higher.
Thank you so much… this is great info/formation for myself as a high school teacher to be able to encourage the boys in front of me to step up and be me… to be the fathers God is calling them to be… to be the fathers that the world needs them to be! May God bless!
Cet entretien ouvre les yeux sur une réalité importante. je me demande à quoi ressemblent les chiffres au Canada, au Québec.Je dois regarder attentivement quelle image masculine je dégage.
