Benjamin Wolaver plays the role of Benjamin Cello and is a cellist, writer, actor, and teacher. He shares the genesis of ‘Benjamin Cello’ as an incredible family creation. ABOUT BENJAMIN WOLAVER
He studied cello at the Juilliard School from eleven to thirteen before touring professionally as a member of the Annie Moses Band. Benjamin earned his B.A. in English Literature at the University of London where he won the Academic Achievement Award. As a member of the Annie Moses Band, he has performed on stages as diverse as Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry, toured abroad in Europe, and released chart-topping albums, including an Emmy-nominated PBS special. Benjamin teaches aesthetics and theology at the Conservatory of Annie Moses.
“The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello” is a whimsical show that welcomes children to “the Land of the Baptized Imagination,” presenting families with timeless songs, lessons of faith and Scripture, and a creative and adventurous storyline that keeps children engaged.
