I always liked how Fr. Larry explains what we men need to do to follow Jesus Christ. This talk hit the spot on my current spiritual needs.
Outstanding. “When He was most vulnerable, He was most powerful” – what an inspirational message to take from the example of Christ.
I came from a parish with Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (PEA). You sign up for an hour based on Christ’s request on Holy Thursday – Could you not watch one hour with me? Started PEA in the new parish. Same thing – sign up for an hour. If your parish doesn’t have PEA, consider starting it. Talk with your Priest. Can’t do it 7 days, do it 5 or 4, etc. If that can’t be done, find a site on your computer with virtual PEA. Go to it when all is quiet in the house. Set a timer for an hour and sit with Christ. Talk with Christ then be quiet mentally. That is my hardest thing to do- be quiet mentally. It will become the best hour of your week. It just takes commitment. Vivat Jesus.
Thank you Father Larry for preaching Christ and Him Crucified. Thank you for reminding us that we can not do this alone. We need God’s Holy Word and we need to listen. (1Sam. 3:10)
