In this talk I underline how the Catholic teachings of Trust, Forgiveness, Humility, Service/Sacrifice, Thanksgiving and Prayer, when applied to our marriage, have helped it not only survive, but thrive in our consumerist society that treats marriage as another consumable, that can be thrown away at will.
Points to Ponder:
– When in your marriage have you begun to say we/us instead of me/my?
– How does your wife compliment/complete you?
– How often do your remind yourself to be Christ-like to your wife?

Love the point about praying in Thanksgiving every night for our wife and how our job is to get our wife to heaven.
Thank you. We were listening to your talk as a couple. The points you mentioned applied to both of us. Kneeling and thanking God every night will definitely help us grow and also give thanks to God. The complimentary fact that God made each of us with strengths to help or compliment the other in their weakness is great insight. Thank you and God Bless you.
